The Departments of English and Literary Studies, Mass Communication, and Linguistics, Nigerian & Foreign Languages at Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Port Harcourt, Nigeria host five Journals (5) which publish original research articles and reviews in the fields of English Language, Literature, Creative Writing, Communication, African and Foreign Languages, and other related disciplines. The scope of all these journals is international. These journals are published biannually, and occasionally on a triannual basis when a special edition is released. All submissions must be written in English. Abstracts of articles on African and foreign languages may also be written in those languages, accompanied by English translations.
